Who We Are

Our People

At Ashcroft our sense of community runs deep. We sponsored the town of  Stratford’s 375th Anniversary in 2014. We support our local sports teams including the Bridgeport Bluefish professional baseball team. We open up our facility grounds for annual cleanup day, our contribution towards a healthy and clean Housatonic River environment remains strong. We adopt local neighborhood gardens and we do our best to keep Stratford beautiful and clean.

Sustainability and Safety

 Environmental Responsibility

At Ashcroft we are committed to the communities where we do business. As a global company, we need to help improve local communities where we operate. We work to provide the best solution to our customers, while at the same time minimizing our environmental impact and giving back to the community.

We have projects underway to minimize our waste water in Stratford and to significantly reduce water consumption in Brazil.  The Brazil project is a plant wide initiative that will yield cost savings and reduce water consumption by 20%, helping reduce the impact of local droughts.

In the United States, we have embraced single stream recycling with our Go Green Campaign and are proud of our 100% smoke free campus. Our facility borders the Housatonic River and Long Island Sound, so keeping our rivers and waterways clean is a priority – not just for our customers in the waste water industry – but for our employees and neighbors as well.

 Culture of Safety

It’s what we do every day. We share a culture of safety throughout our facilities and in the field. We strive to protect our customers’ people, processes and profits.  Our Ashcroft team is committed to operate safely and with the highest standards of integrity and environmental protection. Quarterly safety challenges, safety committee, emergency preparedness and first aid teams are just some of the ways we make safety a priority.  Our people receive continuous on the job training.
